With over 25 years experience in creating innovative special effects for the film and TV industry, Special Effects Supervisor Chris Reynolds spearheads the company, which is run from a 3,000 sq ft workshop near Pinewood Studios West London. All Effects has helped film, television and advertising companies with their varied special effects requirements which include unusual builds, weather effects, pyrotechnics and project supervision, both in the UK and all over the world.
Chris’ experience means that he is called upon time and time again by industry experts who know he appreciates that being on time and on budget are crucial. He understands the business, which is why practically all his work comes from satisfied customer referral. All Effects’ reputation for excellence precedes it, and Chris says simply “To be successful in this business you need to be safe, innovative and never let anybody down.
One of All Effects’ specialities is supervision on foreign film sets. The company has worked extensively on location in Malta, Egypt, Tunisia, Romania, France, South Africa and Morocco.
Quick turnarounds, last-minute calls, seemingly impossible builds to seemingly impossible deadlines, to questions like “what would happen if we used a flamethrower on a bottle of champagne?” – Chris always tackles every project with a ‘can do attitude’ to the most intimidating and perplexing of problems.
All Effects has a genuine passion for its special effects, which is why its international reputation is growing. They have even created a jet powered bed for Top Gear’s Stig to drive, all the House Robots for Robot Wars and made it rain in the deserts of Morocco.
All Effects excellent reputation is built on years of experience. They are BBC and ITV approved and have created effects for high profile productions like Dr Who, Casualty, EastEnders, Robot Wars and Pride and Prejudice. Chris himself has a degree in Architecture and is an Associate of the Institute of Explosives Engineers, has explosives licenses with the police and Class 1 explosives stores. His staff are all highly qualified and professional, many having over twenty years experience in the special effects industry.
All Effects’ workshops are conveniently located near to Pinewood and Heathrow, at the junction of the M4 and M25.
